Note

This guide describes the upgrade of your orcharhino proxy from version 5.2 to version 5.3. Please contact ATIX Support regarding other versions.

The orcharhino proxy obtains its own content from the orcharhino it is connected to. Its packages, which are identical to the orcharhino ones, must be published by the orcharhino. This can be verified by running the following command on your orcharhino:

yum repolist

Note that upgrading an orcharhino proxy requires a one time SSH connection to the orcharhino proxy.

  1. Add repository

Go to Content > Products and select the product of the orcharhino proxy. Go to the Repositories tab (1) and click the New Repository button (2):

Adding a new repository to the orcharhino proxy product

This allows you to add the orcharhino 5.3 repository.

  2. Add repository to content view

Add the new orcharhino 5.3 repository to the orcharhino proxy content view.

  3. Publish new version of the content view

Go to Content > Content Views and select the content view of the orcharhino proxy.

Publishing a new version of the content view

Publish a new version of the content view for the orcharhino proxy by clicking the Publish New Version button.

  4. Check availability of repositories

Verify if the repositories on the orcharhino are also available on the orcharhino proxy by running the following command on the orcharhino proxy:

    yum repolist
