StructureΒΆ

The orcharhino interface (see also Management UI) can be subdivided into two main areas, the menu area containing menus, and the content area displaying whatever page we are currently viewing.

The following image shows the menu area and its constituent parts:

management ui menu items
  • The Context Menu (1) is the first menu in the main navigation bar. Unlike other menus, it is named dynamically depending on the selected context.

  • The Monitor Menu is a menu in the main navigation bar (2).

  • The Content Menu is a menu in the main navigation bar (2).

  • The Hosts Menu is a menu in the main navigation bar (2).

  • The Configure Menu is a menu in the main navigation bar (2).

  • The Infrastructure Menu is a menu in the main navigation bar (2).

  • The Administer Menu is the last menu in the main navigation bar (2). It includes menu items intended for orcharhino administration, rather than orcharhino usage.

  • The Notification Icon (3) will indicate whether there are any new notifications (with a red number), which can then be viewed by clicking on it.

  • The User Menu (4) allows the user currently logged in to configure her account settings, as well as to log out.

This documentation is structured in accordance with the above menu structure. Each menu is given a section within the Management UI chapter. Each menu item is given a subsection within the relevant menu section. Finally, each content page is given a subsubsection within the relevant menu item subsection.

In addition, there is also a section for General Topics (containing this subsection amongst others).
