The about page can be accessed via The Administer Menu:

The about page details useful information about your orcharhino installation. The information provided includes the backend system status, and lists of all installed packages, smart proxies, available providers, compute resources, and plugins (as well as version information for all of the above).

The about page is subdivided into several distinct areas as follows:

  • The System Status area (1) includes several tabs and is discussed further below.

  • The Backend System Status area (2) lists the status of several important orcharhino backend services. These services should generally always have status “OK”. Checking this list is often a first point of call when troubleshooting orcharhino.

  • The Support area (3) provides two links. The “Documentation” link will take you to this documentation, as bundled with your orcharhino installation. The “ATIX Service Portal” link will take you to https://serviceportal.atix.de. This portal allows ATIX customers to create ATIX support tickets and grants access to the orcharhino knowledge base.

  • The System Information area (4) will tell you what version of orcharhino you are using (3.5 in the above screenshot), and includes a mailto:info@atix.de link. (See also contact).

  • The Installed Packages area (5) will list all orcharhino related packages currently installed on the host system that your orcharhino installation is running on.

System Status Area

The System Status area includes several distinct tabs each of which is discussed below.

The Smart Proxies tab lists any smart proxies known to your orcharhino installation:

  • Clicking on the name of a smart proxy in the Name column (1) will take you to the smart proxy overview page.

  • The list of smart proxies will always include the main orcharhino host. (For many use cases this will be the only smart proxy needed).

  • The Status should generally always be “Active” (Active symbol). This is something to check when troubleshooting orcharhino.

The Available Providers tab shows what compute resources are installed on your orcharhino:

The Compute Resources tab lists all compute resources known to your orcharhino:

  • Clicking on the name of a compute resource in the Name column (1) will take you to the compute resource overview page.

  • The status should generally always be “OK”.

The Plugins tab lists all plugins installed on orcharhino, along with the relevant plugin version:

  • Clicking on the name of a plugin in the Name column (1) will take you to a website chosen by the plugin’s author. (In many cases this is just the relevant git repository, while some plugins have their own website).
